Lauren DiPietro
Lauren DiPietro began her life-long love for dance at age three, training formally in jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, pointe, lyrical, and more at North Shore Dance Academy. She grew up as a competitive dancer in which she earned numerous scholarships and regional titles, then discovered her love for teaching as she was a teacher’s assistant throughout her teen years. As she transitioned out of high school she began seriously teaching and was recognized for her choreography. She also taught gymnastics at her local gym in MA.
Lauren’s passion for performing took her career to the next level when she moved to NYC and completed the American Musical and Dramatic Academy’s conservatory program as a Dance Theatre Graduate. Not only did she study dance, but she trained in voice and acting as well. Upon graduation, she immediately made her professional debut in the role of Lisa in Royal Caribbean’s production of “Mamma Mia!”, where she was also a dancer and aerialist in “Blue Planet”. She has also performed with artists such as Jordin Sparks, The Pointer Sisters, and Patti Labelle in Las Vegas.
Lauren feels strongly about sharing her years of knowledge and personal experience with her students while spreading her passion for dance and performing. Teaching brings her so much joy and inspires her to be a better person and mentor everyday. Her goal is to always “aspire to inspire” and help the next generation dancers embrace themselves and their dreams entirely and unapologetically.
